Contentment in all circumstances

Matthew 6:33 says:

(KJV)  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

(CEV)  But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.

This is the attitude we will have in eternity where time does not exist and we do not need to be concerned about the future, where God provides all we need.

So we need to practice this attitude now in this training ground we are in to prepare us for heaven.

God may tell us to do something to prepare for the future, including save money, but we will not do these things out of worry or fear of what will happen in the future.  This Matt 6:33 attitude will stop us worrying  or hope about getting our plans for the future correct and relying on prophecy about good things happening in the future instead of God's perfect Love and provision.

If we trust God's Love and stewardship of us and practice Matt 6:33, nothing will worry or concern us and we will be content whatever happens focussing on Jesus and His things without the distraction of trying to prepare for the future according to what we think it is.

This attitude also requires us to cast all our concerns onto Jesus for Him to be Lord of them trusting His Love for you for whatever happens.

Unless you trust God fully you cannot live in the way He desires you to live
